By continuing to book with us, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
Important: you MUST include each dog's vet book with vaccination proof in with their belongings, as I must scan these for my licence records!
Daycare and walking cancellations require 24 hours notice, and ALL boarding bookings require 7 days notice to cancel; any cancellation within these notice periods is still liable for the full balance owed on your booking.
ie. cancelling a walk or daycare the morning of or night before (less than 24 hours before service starts) means you will still have to pay for that service.
If I have to cancel for any reason, I will do my best to find a replacement service provider to cover the dates cancelled.
Deposits will be refunded if I have to cancel for any reason, or if you cancel with at least 30 days notice.
A deposit is required to book any service through Hopwood Hippy, with full payment due on drop off/ before service rendered.
This deposit is only refundable up to 30 days prior to the date of your booking (or the booking start date, for boarding), after which time there will be no refunds given. Any service cancelled with less than 24 hours notice is still liable for the full balance owed on this cancelled service.
In the case where I might have to cancel the booking for any reason, I will refund any deposit and try to help find a service provider with the required availability (though this is no guarantee that I will find a replacement service provider)
PENALTY FEE OF £50 TO BE PAID BY CLIENT IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OCCUR:
- Your Dog Has Fleas on arrival.
- You ( the owner) are unreachable by phone for more than 1 hour during an emergency which requires the dog to be collected as soon as possible.
- Your emergency contact is unable to collect your dog in an emergency which requires the dog to be collected ASAP.
Cash is preferred, but bank transfer and PayPal are also accepted.
Please ask for details if you wish to pay electronically.
I do not accept deposits or payment on stays before a successful trial night has taken place.
Please arrive within 15 minutes of your stated pick-up/ drop-off window. Any arrival outside of these times and we can not guarantee that we will be available (or even at home) to help.
Booking Forms must be filled out and returned to me by the start of the service.
The emergency contact on this form must be able to collect the dog, in case of (very rare) emergency requiring the dog to leave. There is a penalty fee if you or your emergency contact are unreachable for one hour or more, during an emergency requiring the dog to be picked up.
I will issue information update forms every 6 months, to ensure I am kept informed of any relevant health and behavioural changes.
Vaccination cards & vet books must be included with the dogs belongings during each stay.
On drop off, you will be required to read & sign your consent to these statements, among others:
- I accept that I am leaving my dog(s) and any associated property at this establishment at my own risk.
- I understand that my dog(s) will be kept as a pet in the home of the licensee, and I am aware that dogs from other households may be present, and I consent to this arrangement.
- I declare that I have provided full details of my dog’s medical and behavioural condition(s), and that following reasonable and careful care of the dog, if any deterioration in its’ health occurs, the license holder and her family will not be held liable.
- I agree to reimburse any Veterinary fees incurred in respect of my dog(s) during this stay, in full and within 7 days of picking my dog up.
- I consent that my dog may be taken to the nearest, most convenient vets in any case of emergency.
- I give my permission for my dog(s) to be walked outside our home environment/garden. I am aware that dog(s) from other households may be walked alongside my dog, and I consent to this arrangement.
